The Big Time Heat is Coming.

We have had a taste of it, but the 100 degrees plus days are on their way. If you are a dog owner experiencing your first summer here, I want you to know some of the tips that we have learned over the years as we cope with summer heat around here. As a well-known Las Vegas dog trainer, I hope that these things to watch for will help.

Your dog may be overheating if you notice –

1.  His saliva is noticeably thick.

2.  She appears to be dizzy.

3.  He is panting heavily.

4.  She looks confused.

5.  There is a noticeable lethargy.

Now, if you want to have a real companion for years and years to come please call me. My name is Dennis Danskin Las Vegas dog trainer. For more than half a century I have made generations of canines great “best friends” of their owners. My website is trainhumane.net which sums up much of my philosophy. How About Thinking of Dennis for Preventative Maintenance?

In this space we always discuss what Las Vegas dog trainer Dennis Danskin can do for your family AFTER the fact. What about BEFORE you adopt your new best friend. Maybe a call to Dennis would not be such a bad idea. Questions that you should be asking range from what breed to adopt to how many four-legged friends you already have.

Each dog is unique of course and has its own temperament. If you don’t have a lot of room then perhaps a certain breed who needs a lot of exercise is a bad idea. If you already have a dog (or dogs) will a new addition be a positive or a negative and what breed would be best to acclimate with the pack if that is your concern.

Why not give Dennis Danskin noted Las Vegas Valley dog trainer a call and ask a question or two before you decide what to do next? He will “shoot you straight” about your thoughts. When you are ready to adopt give Dennis another call at (702) 327-4744 and go to the internet and google trainhumane.net.

Sorry Folks, They Can’t Be Separated.

That is how some adoptions occur. Two canines have been together for months and the breeder will NOT let them be adopted separately. So, what do you do? Well, you either move on or accept their rules. If you have fallen in love with both of them, how can you possibly “spin on your heels” and just look for a singular dog?

We want to you to be aware of the disadvantages. Among them are –

1.  It is hard enough to train ONE let alone two.

2.  Double the work…double the mischief.

3.  They have bonded with each other and don’t care much about you.

4.  If you pay too much attention to one the other will get “jealous.”

This is where your newest best friend Dennis Danskin comes in. He is an accomplished dog trainer in Las Vegas who will train your pet anywhere in the Valley. Having more than one dog to train is not new for Dennis. You will see his humane training methods at his aptly-named website trainhumane.net. Call him for a complimentary visit at (702) 327-4744.

How Long Should I Wait Before I Adopt my New Best Friend?

Obviously, there is no “one answer fits all.” The standard answer is right away, but is that the right one for you and your family? Have you taken time to grieve the loss of a previous pet? The other school of thought is “I will never own another dog…it is just too painful to say good-bye."  Dog ownership is a conflicted mix of unbridled joy and some grief.

For some, the loneliness of an empty house makes the grieving process even more difficult and a new pet can surely help. For others, they may feel resentful toward a pet obtained too soon. The time to obtain a new pet is when you have worked completely through your grief and are confident that you can look forward to a relationship with a new best friend.

That brings us to Las Vegas humane dog trainer, Dennis Danskin. Have you heard of him? Well, when it comes to training your new canine buddy into the type of companion you have hoped for, he is the answer anywhere in the Valley. See his methodology and read his testimonials at trainhumane.net. Call him for a complimentary visit at (702) 327-4744.
