Zap…Ouch!

Shock collars are a type of training initially used in the 1960s to train hunting dogs.  In the 21st  Century, shock collars are used to curb a variety of stubborn and unwanted behaviors in family dogs, for a variety of reasons, as well as to train puppies to stay safely within a property line or to stick close by while off leash.  You wouldn’t do that to your child, would you?

Things you should know about shock collars –

1.  Their intensity can be adjusted to a very high level.
2.  Do you want to train your dog through fear?
3.  They may deliver a shock when not needed.
4.  There is NO positive reward.

When you were a kid did your mom or dad ever tell you “well, you’ll just have to learn the hard way”.  A shock collar IS “the hard way”!  Dennis Danskin a renowned Las Vegas area dog trainer does not believe in shock collars, choke collars, etc.  Please give him a call for a free, no obligation in-home visit and learn how he “trains humane”.  That number is (702) 327-4744.

Bad Behavior Starts at Home.

A New Year’s puppy has so many ways to get into trouble in his or her home.  Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!  There are things to chew, places to relieve one’s self, and all sorts of other mischief to get into.  If you have ever had little kids you made your home child proof, didn’t you?  Now it may be time to make sure that your four-legged child is properly trained.

It all begins at home.  There are less distractions than some “training facilities” that may have other canines.  Your home is the most comfortable environment for your canine to learn, and easiest for you and your future peace of mind.  I am convinced that humane dog training in one’s home is THE best way to train.

Let’s meet for free with no obligation.  No, really, if this is not the right fit for you or me or your pooch let’s find out before any commitments are made.  Call me, Dennis Danskin, anywhere in the Las Vegas Valley at (702) 327-4744 and I will meet your new best friend.  I am genuinely looking forward to it!
