Show them what Pleases You.

So much of dog training has become “catch them and scold them”.  I guess that could even be said for how we handle our human children.  The prevailing thought is that if you try to train your four-legged friend by yelling and intimidating them AFTER the fact that somehow it will be ingrained in their psyche.

How about the reverse?  Praising and teaching without raising your voice to a level where it sounds like you are screaming at them!  They need to understand what YOU want and YOU expect.  Where do you want them to do their business?  When is it appropriate to give hugs without jumping on and disrupting everyone in the household?  What is okay to chew on?

These traits start when they are in their formative months, then they last a lifetime.  That is where professional Las Vegas area dog trainer Dennis Danskin comes in.  He has virtually seen it all in over a half-century of training dogs both large and small.  His first in-home visit is FREE…so why not give him a call at (702) 327-4744.

Come, Heel, Sit, Stay.

What is the first thing that you think of when you hear those three words?  Why, dog training, of course!  The truth is that is all that some of us think it takes to properly train your beloved four-legged companion.  The problem with that type of thinking is that come, heel, sit, and stay do NOT address the issue of behavior.

If you stick with only those three basics, then you may end up with a companion who is great at rote memory, but terrible when it comes to day-in and day-out life.  Remember these words…earned respect.  It works with humans as well.  Once you have achieved that you are well on your way to having the best BEST friend you have ever had!

There is someone in Las Vegas and the surrounding area that believes earned respect is tantamount to successful dog training.  His name is Dennis Danskin.  It must be working, because his story goes back more than half a century and Yelp reviews sing his praises.  Call Dennis for a free in-home evaluation at (702) 327-4744.
