Does Owning a Dog Enhance the Life of a Senior?

Let me let you in on this fact…I too am over 55…just a little! I know from my years and years of experience as a dog trainer that owning a well-behaved “best friend” will not only enhance your life, but may actually extend it. You have probably heard it before…owning the right dog in your “golden years” is good medicine. Let a canine trainer like me, Dennis Danskin, help.

Here is just one small aspect of life that studies have shown. Continuing research is showing that the health benefits of owning a dog are unmistakable. Dog owners have lower blood pressure and healthier cholesterol levels, and a lower risk of heart disease, than non-owners. That sounds like a plan, doesn’t it?

I am one of the premier dog trainers anywhere (especially here in the Las Vegas Valley). Please call me, Las Vegas dog trainer Dennis Danskin, for more help with the proper selection and training of your new “best friend”. That’s Dennis Danskin at trainhumane.net. Call me at this phone number (702) 327-4744.

Accentuate the Positive.

There are two basic ways to train your new best friend…positive or negative reinforcement. If your dog fears you, it might work for you in the short run, but long-term you want a companion who has learned through positive training, or humane training as we call it. Those are the methods of humane Las Vegas dog trainer Dennis Danskin.

No –

1. Shock collars

2. Clickers (it sounds like you’re training a cricket!)

3. Choke chains

4. Even treats

Your new canine companion respects you (because it is done in your home)…not the fear of doing the wrong thing! This is what Las Vegas dog trainer Dennis Danskin has used in a half-century of successful dog training. Does that sound good for your family? Then call noted Las Vegas Valley dog trainer Dennis Danskin at (702) 327-4744 and see trainhumane.net.

Obedience is Just Part of the Equation.

Let’s put it this way…if your children obeyed you blindly without thought as opposed to behaving the way they know they should is that your desire? The answer is probably NO. The answer in proper dog training, according to noted Las Vegas dog trainer Dennis Danskin, is to teach obedience as a means to an end. Respect is the goal!

Some steps in teaching respect are –

1.  Calmly teaching your dog what behaviors are acceptable to you and your family.

2.  Always make sure your best friend feels protected.

3.  Never, ever behave aggressively!

These are just some of the issues that Dennis will deal with in your home, not at some training facility. The first visit from Las Vegas Valley dog trainer to your house is always complimentary. So why not call Dennis Danskin at (702) 327-4744. Invite him over to meet your buddy. See the Dennis Danskin story at trainhumane.net.
