It’s NOT One and Done.

I believe it is important to begin training your new addition to your family (your beloved dog) as soon as he begins living in your household.  Waiting for that essential training that makes him a great companion will only allow your pooch to develop bad habits…and believe me, those habits will begin in the blink of an eye!

What about later after you have called me and I have done the initial in-home training?  Well, as the headline says it’s not one and done.  Training is not something you do one time and you're done.  You will get the best results if you train your dog regularly, even once he has mastered an action or cue.  I will help you with those skills.

My name is Dennis Danskin and for the better part of a half-century I have made it my mission to build better relationships between canine and human in the Las Vegas Valley with my well-known and respected in-home training methods.  Please call me as soon as you adopt your new best friend and let’s get started.  I’m Dennis Danskin at (702) 327-4744.

Be it Ever so Humble…

So, you’ve made that important decision to add a canine to your family unit this summer.  One of the first things to consider before temperatures soar is training it properly.  You have a lot of choices when it comes to training these days, including private in-home training, private training at a facility, group classes, and even online courses.

Why in-home training? Here are some reasons –

1.  The schedule is much more flexible.
2.  It is tailored to fit YOUR family’s specific needs.
3.  More time can be spent on certain commands if necessary.
4.  You can begin almost immediately.

Las Vegas humane dog trainer Dennis Danskin believes in the concept of in-home canine training…always has.  It is effective, calming, and, because he is who he is, reasonably priced.  You made a decade + commitment when you adopted your new best friend now take the next logical step and properly train them by calling Dennis Danskin at (702) 327-4744.

Hey, Who Is in Charge Here?

Simple question…does your dog respect you NOT fear you?  Your dog can show you all the love in the world and yet still not respect you as the leader of the pack.  Does he/she chew up your clothes or furniture?  Does he/she jump on you in excitement when you get home?  Does he/she seem to ignore any command you give?

Whenever your four-legged child treats you as an equal, it simply means that you’re not being the pack leader.  The truth is dogs don’t want to be equal in the pack, and only a very few of them are born to want to be in charge.  The important thing is to build a healthy respect in the most humane way possible.

That is one of the primary reasons why I do all of my dog training in the natural surroundings of your home.  We (you and I) get the best results by doing it this way.  For decades I have been one of Las Vegas’ most successful dog trainers.  My name is Dennis Danskin.  Call me for an in-home complimentary visit at (702) 327-4744.
